Job Title: Project/Program Manager IVJob Description

The Project/Program Manager IV leads the coordination and successful completion of complex construction-related projects and programs from pre-construction through delivery. This role oversees all aspects of assigned initiatives, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, progress monitoring, and reporting to senior leadership. The position relies on extensive project management experience, sound judgment, and a high degree of creativity to plan and accomplish strategic goals, while directing the work of others and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end delivery of construction and pre-construction projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including scope definition, scheduling, resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and quality control.
  • Set project and program deadlines, establish milestones, and create detailed work plans to guide execution.
  • Assign responsibilities and tasks to project team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity of roles and expectations.
  • Monitor project and program progress against plans, proactively identify issues or risks, and implement corrective actions to keep work on track.
  • Summarize project status and key metrics, preparing clear and concise reports and presentations for upper management and leadership.
  • Lead and direct the work of cross-functional teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
  • Apply construction management and project management best practices to drive efficient planning, execution, and closeout of construction initiatives.
  • Support pre-construction activities, including planning, coordination, and estimation to enable accurate forecasting and informed decision-making.
  • Utilize estimation skills to contribute to cost projections, budget development, and financial planning for construction projects.
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project and program goals, making informed decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Perform a variety of project and program management tasks, adapting to changing priorities and requirements across multiple initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure project requirements are understood and incorporated into planning and execution.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates to leadership on project health, risks, dependencies, and outcomes, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within project teams, encouraging creative solutions to challenges and efficiency gains.

Essential Skills

  • At least 7 years of experience in project or program management in construction or a closely related field.
  • Strong background in construction management, including familiarity with construction processes, practices, and procedures.
  • Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Experience in pre-construction management, including coordination of early-stage planning and estimation activities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in estimation for construction projects, supporting accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects or programs simultaneously, managing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience directing the work of others and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities, relying on extensive experience to plan and accomplish complex goals.
  • High degree of creativity and latitude in developing solutions, approaches, and strategies for project delivery.
  • Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures related to construction and project management.
  • Strong technology competencies, including experience using Chime, Slack, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and present project status to upper management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage detailed plans and multiple concurrent activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, business, or a related discipline is typically required.
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Comfort working with virtual collaboration tools and remote teams across different locations.

Work Environment

This role operates primarily in a virtual work-from-home environment, using collaboration tools such as Chime, Slack, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams to communicate with project teams and stakeholders. The position involves regular remote coordination and occasional travel to site kick-off meetings and project locations, with travel expected to be less than 50%. The work setting is dynamic and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on innovation, impact, and independent decision-making. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
