We are looking for a Senior Network Software Engineer to join our core development team in Bengaluru or working Remotely! In this role, you will design and implement high-performance control plane solutions and hardware abstraction layers for IP Infusion’s OcNOS.

Key Responsibilities:

Protocol Implementation: Develop advanced solutions for Segment Routing MPLS (SR-MPLS), SRv6, TI-LFA, QoS, BFD, and SDN technologies within OcNOS.
Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL): Design and implement HAL code to tightly integrate merchant silicon and SDKs (such as Broadcom Jericho) into a seamless forwarding plane.
Lifecycle Ownership: Write detailed design specs, production-grade code, and unit/functional tests in an Agile/Waterfall environment.
Architecture & Collaboration: Drive architectural discussions, peer code reviews, and cross-site development initiatives.
Troubleshooting: Debug complex, protocol-level routing issues across lab and live customer environments.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 5 to 15+ years of software engineering experience (with 7+ years dedicated to L3 networking protocol design and development).
Core Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP.
Segment Routing & MPLS: Strong background in SR-MPLS, OSPF-SR, IS-IS-SR, TI-LFA, LDP, RSVP, BGP LU, and L2/L3 services (L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN).
Silicon & Forwarding: Experience with forwarding plane software and Broadcom SDK (Jericho+ chipsets).
Tech Stack: Exceptional C/C++ coding skills in a multi-threaded Linux environment, coupled with debugging mastery (GDB, Valgrind, GCov).
