Job Summary:
ACES seeks a dynamic and performance-driven Sr. Director/Director of Sales & Marketing to manage and participate in the development and execution of our sales, community outreach and marketing strategies aimed at expanding our services to families of children with autism. Success is two-fold: (1) Drive predictable, client demand generation for children with comprehensive needs across all markets current ACES serves through partnerships, outreach and external marketing; and (2) Support internal marketing through acceptance of clinically recommended therapy for clients and employer of choice strategies for team members.
The Sr. Director/Director will be responsible for leading a team of outreach executives (sales team) across multiple markets and states who manage physician and other community relationships, a marketing manager supporting both internal marketing and external client acquisition and a marketing technology specialist.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, marketing, and client acquisition, ideally within healthcare, education, or behavioral services. They will bring daily/weekly/monthly rigor to performance management. And they will lead aligned with ACES leadership behaviors and be able and willing to operate at both scrappy (detailed) and strategic (big picture) levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Outreach Strategies to Deliver Clients with Comprehensive Needs: Re-Design and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to drive comprehensive client acquisition, working closely with the leadership team to ensure alignment with ACES Purpose and Growth Potential Plan (PGP) which is to focus on high impact clients (with comprehensive needs) in-center.
- Team Leadership and Oversight: Lead, mentor, and provide strategic direction to a team of outreach executives across multiple states, a marketing manager implementing best practices to drive client acquisition, a marketing technology specialist. Ensure team members are equipped with the tools, training, and resources needed to successfully meet acquisition goals. For Outreach executives, ensure compensation structure is aligned with new client growth strategy e.g. 2/3 of clients acquired have comprehensive needs and target accounts are tightly managed on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
- Market Growth: Drive client growth in, creating region-specific strategies for expanding ACES density in markets it already serves
- Maximize Community-Based Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with heaviest emphasis on local healthcare providers, then schools and community organizations and other potential referral sources. Brand awareness is secondary to business performance.
- Client Acquisition Funnel Collaboration: Partner closely with the Client Operations team including the Client Onboarding and Field Operations to ensure a seamless client acquisition process, ensuring smooth transitions and high conversion rates from initial contact to enrollment.
- Drive Marketing Strategy: Create and refine marketing collateral, campaigns, and digital strategies that support client acquisition efforts.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to monitor the effectiveness of outreach initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve lead generation and conversion rates.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with executive leadership, providing insights and updates on progress, market trends, and client acquisition performance.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all outreach activities are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA and state-specific regulations regarding ABA services.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in client acquisition, business development, or marketing within healthcare, education, or behavioral health industries. Experience with autism services or related sectors is highly preferred.
- Performance Driven: Strong quantifiable track record trend tied to personal contributions
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and leading teams, with superior ability to motivate, coach, and develop talent across multiple markets.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, measure performance, and adjust strategies based on key metrics and insights. Obsesses about data and trends to drive success.
- Detail-Oriented: Capable of hands on keyboard work to get things done and support team success. Brings a details are where the insights and unlocks are mindset.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and implement long-term strategies while adapting to shifting market demands and opportunities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to various stakeholders including executives, teams, families, and external partners.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to oversee outreach activities across multiple states.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move up to 10 pounds.
- May include, without limitation, the following physical demands: sitting, typing and viewing a screen(s) for long periods of time.
