About The Position
The QA Automation Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of our evolving suite of software applications. This position plays a crucial role in verifying the functionality, performance, and stability of our MS Windows, mobile and cloud-based solutions, through a combination of automated and manual testing techniques. The QA Automation Engineer collaborates with software engineers to develop software solutions that facilitate organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in testing and supporting IT platforms.
- Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and software development principles.
- Ability to develop simple software solutions using a programming language such as VB.NET or C#.
- 3+ years of experience using Transact SQL (TSQL).
- Experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience developing automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Experience performing various types of manual testing (functional, integration, regression, exploratory).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of data modelling (database concepts) and data visualization tools (like Visio).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and oral.
- Be available for after-hours work for issue resolution and system upgrades as necessary.
- Be someone that is excited about improving processes and helping drive efficiency and excellence.
- Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously with regular interruptions while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and maintain a high standard of professional courtesy, flexibility, confidentiality and discretion while working collaboratively in an office environment, independently and as a team member.
