About the Role:

This is a full-time remote role as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer at ACCESS Members headquartered in New York City. We're looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of our platform's core features as we continue to innovate within the hospitality sector. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing our product ecosystem, which includes both mobile and web-based platforms. You will be working across various business areas, collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences for our membership base and venue partners.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable, high-performance applications using NestJS, React, and React Native, along with strong database management skills in MySQL. Familiarity with GraphQL is a must for managing data efficiently and building flexible APIs. This candidate will work alongside our principal engineer based in Egypt.

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in software development, with proven experience in both backend and frontend.
• Strong proficiency in NestJS for backend development and API management
• Extensive experience with React and React Native, building interactive, scalable web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, including query optimization, schema design and database administration.
• Experience with GraphQL for building and managing flexible APIs and enhancing data query efficiency
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, especially within the Restaurant Technology space.
• Unit and end-to-end testing testing experience to ensure application reliability
• Experience working with both RESTful and GraphQL APIs and handling third-party integrations.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong composure, problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Excitement to work directly along side business co-founders to help execute product vision
• True ownership over work product and relentless focus on creating software that our members love.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Seed-stage startup experience in the technology, consumer or marketplace sectors.
• Passion for restaurants, nightlife and unique culinary experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in a technical field such as: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science
