Senior Python Software Engineer

Job Description

Our client is part of the same group as Accesa and is a key player in the corporate banking sector. With a strong focus on innovation and process optimization, the client develops and maintains digital solutions tailored to corporate banking needs, supporting large-scale financial operations and enabling streamlined services for enterprise-level customers.

Qualifications

Tailor client solutions: Design and develop Python-based web applications using Flask or FastAPI. Build data ingestion pipelines with PySpark and Airflow, aligned to client and project needs.

Deliver high-quality code: Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, security, and integration with third-party services. Write scalable, maintainable code and follow best practices for web development.

Drive continuous improvement: Identify performance issues and lead debugging and refactoring efforts to enhance application stability and efficiency.

Team collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly, responsive applications that meet business goals.

Provide client consultancy: Translate technical needs into practical solutions and offer guidance to ensure deliverables meet client expectations.

Nurture knowledge: Stay current with industry trends and share knowledge to support team learning and improve development practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Python, with extensive hands-on work using Flask or FastAPI
• Strong experience with PySpark for building and maintaining scalable data ingestion pipelines
• Proficient in orchestrating batch workflows using Apache Airflow
• Solid understanding of OAuth2/OpenID and web application security best practices
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support effective cross-functional collaboration
