Our customer is a German IT service provider specializing in cloud infrastructure and digital solutions for cooperative banks. For this project, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in policy-driven infrastructure and automation. The engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining access and security policies using Open Policy Agent (OPA), while also supporting infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and observability.
Responsibilities:
Policy-Driven Security → Shape the foundation of secure infrastructure by designing and maintaining OPA-based access, compliance, and security policies, ensuring governance across complex systems.
Reliable Delivery Pipelines → Drive automation excellence by building and supporting CI/CD workflows with Jenkins, guaranteeing fast, reliable, and stable software deployments.
High-Performance Applications → Strengthen application delivery by configuring and optimizing Nginx for load balancing, reverse proxying, and robust security hardening.
Resilient Infrastructure → Ensure system reliability and network stability through hands-on management and troubleshooting of Linux environments.
Containerized Environments → Build and maintain Docker-based platforms that support both development and production workloads, enabling seamless application lifecycle management.
Collaborative Architecture → Partner with developers and architects to align infrastructure design with business and security requirements, while contributing to discussions on Kubernetes/OpenShift orchestration and RBAC best practices.
Nice to have: Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift, observability tools, and distributed systems. Fluency in English; German is a plus.
