🚨 We're Hiring: IT Software Engineer

📍 Location: Gravesend, Kent

💼 Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

🕘 Hours: 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday

🖥️ Remote | Full-Time

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Software Engineer to join our close-knit IT team and play a key role in enhancing and future-proofing our internal systems — including our in-house Port Management System.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys direct interaction with stakeholders, and is eager to make a real impact by shaping business-critical applications.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing and supporting business applications across the enterprise
• Managing SQL Server environments and ensuring robust database performance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Leading development projects from concept to deployment
• Supporting and enhancing legacy systems using the Uniface platform.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade software solutions
• Strong SQL Server and database management expertise
• Good understanding of server infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity
• A problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and great communication skills

💡 Desirable Experience:

• Web development and/or Microsoft Power Platform
• Working knowledge of enterprise architecture and system interdependencies
