Role Overview: Academian is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphics Development Specialist to support an AI-powered educational platform. This role will play a strategic role in enhancing video-based and interactive digital learning content. The selected candidate will work closely with instructional designers, product leads, and curriculum specialists to produce visually engaging assets that align with the brand and pedagogical goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with instructional and curriculum teams to develop graphics that support AI-driven learning modules.
• Use platforms such as Synthesia or similar AI-based video tools to create multimedia content.
• Convert scripts, storyboards, and wireframes into clear, visually effective learning assets.
• Ensure visual consistency across all assets, adhering to the brand and accessibility guidelines.
• Receive and incorporate feedback from stakeholders in an iterative design process.
• Optimize visual content for both desktop and mobile learning experiences.
• Participate in scheduled collaboration and sprint planning meetings during U.S. business hours.
• Coordinate with project teams to deliver assets on time and manage digital asset libraries.
• Perform other related tasks as needed to support visual content development.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Multimedia, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience designing graphics for educational or eLearning platforms.
• Instructional design experience will be an advantage.
• Proficiency with video and graphic tools such as Synthesia, Vyond, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of design principles for learning, including visual hierarchy and information clarity.
• Ability to interpret instructional materials and translate them into engaging visual content.
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG) and responsive design.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Availability to work U.S. Eastern or Pacific business hours as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience creating educational videos or interactive media.
• Exposure to K–12 content development or working in edtech/AI-enhanced learning environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development workflows and remote collaboration.
