Role Overview:
The Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale content and learning development initiatives across the organization’s portfolio. This role is responsible for driving alignment across content strategy, production, instructional design, editorial, and stakeholder teams to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong program governance, experience managing complex content pipelines, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into executable delivery plans. The primary objective is to ensure content programs achieve desired outcomes, quality benchmarks, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage content programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end content lifecycle, from planning through development, review, and delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including instructional design, content, editorial, production, and SMEs.
- Manage program timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects.
- Monitor program performance, track milestones, and address issues impacting delivery.
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and program outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of Program Management experience, preferably in content development, publishing, education, or EdTech environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business, Project Management, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale content or curriculum development programs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of content production workflows and lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with learning or curriculum development teams.
- Familiarity with digital learning or content platforms.
- Program or project management certification (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent).
- Experience with Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or similar project management tools.
