🚀 Senior Data Scientist | Lisbon (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a challenging project, taking a leading role in the design and development of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Machine Learning solutions.

You will have the opportunity to design intelligent architectures, lead technical initiatives, and deliver innovative AI solutions that create real business impact.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of AI, Generative AI, and Machine Learning solutions;
• Design AI architectures leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and modern AI frameworks;
• Develop end-to-end AI-powered applications;
• Define approaches for Prompt Engineering, Model Evaluation, and Model Fine-Tuning;
• Build scalable and production-ready AI pipelines;
• Ensure best practices in software development, security, and AI Governance;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design business-driven AI solutions;
• Mentor Junior and Mid-Level Data Scientists;
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Generative AI and Machine Learning.

✅ What We're Looking For:

Experience:

• 5–10 years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning;
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions in enterprise environments;
• Previous technical leadership experience is highly valued.

Technical Skills:

• Python and SQL;
• Machine Learning and Deep Learning;
• Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs);
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG);
• AI Agents;
• Prompt Engineering;
• Natural Language Processing (NLP);
• LangChain, LangGraph, and/or Microsoft Agent Framework;
• Vector Databases and Embeddings;
• Model Fine-Tuning;
• MLOps;
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP);
• Knowledge of Data Engineering, APIs, Containers, Git, and CI/CD.
