Our client, a leading AI-powered healthcare company specializing in medical imaging and workflow solutions integrates with hospital systems to assist radiologists by automatically flagging urgent cases, reducing workload, and improving diagnostic accuracy.
They are looking to bring in a contract Senior Manager, Marketing as a maternity cover for 9-10 months. This person will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of all company events, with a focus on trade shows, conferences, and corporate events. This role involves working closely with marketing, sales, the AI transformation team, and product teams to ensure events are aligned with business objectives and deliver a high return on investment (ROI). The Senior Manager, Marketing will oversee coordination, logistics, and execution of trade show activities, ensuring seamless implementation and impactful brand experiences. Additionally, this role will work with the CMO to collaborate with HR and plan internal team events as needed.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute an integrated event marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identify key trade shows and conferences that align with the company’s target market and business objectives.
- Set measurable goals and KPIs for events and ensure they are met.
Event Execution:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all events, including trade shows, conferences, and corporate gatherings.
- Work with the Event Marketing Manager to execute trade show logistics, including booth design, staffing, lead generation, and follow-up strategies.
- Ensure all events deliver a consistent brand message and engaging attendee experience.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the event marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and service providers to maximize ROI.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and develop the Event Marketing Manager, providing guidance and support for successful event execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and AI transformation teams, to align event strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
Performance Analysis:
- Analyze event performance and provide insights on ROI, attendee engagement, and lead generation.
- Utilize data and feedback to continuously improve event strategies and execution.
Vendor and Partner Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with event vendors, partners, and sponsors.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the event process.
- Maintain a vendor database with key contacts and services provided.
Marketing and HR Alignment:
- Collaborate with HR to connect team onboarding processes with marketing goals and objectives.
- Assist in planning and coordinating internal team-building events to foster company culture.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or a related field, with a strong focus on event marketing and trade shows.
- Proven track record of managing and executing successful events, particularly trade shows.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
