What We’re Seeking:

5280 Brands is hiring a strategic, performance-minded Acquisition Marketing Director to lead customer acquisition across our growing portfolio of wellness and performance brands—including R&R CBD, Summit, and three new lifestyle brands launching in 2026: a wellness mocktail, an athletic supplement brand, and a nootropics supplement brand.

You’ll report directly to our CEO and own the full acquisition strategy across all five brands—leading paid media, influencer and affiliate marketing, social media, PR/events, and emerging growth channels. You’ll manage a growing team of channel specialists and serve as the connective tissue between strategy and execution—ensuring every campaign is aligned, on-brand, and built to scale.

You have a strong command of the full acquisition toolkit—from Meta, Google, and TikTok ads to influencer, affiliate, and events. You know how to build and scale campaigns across channels, test and iterate with purpose, and connect creative strategy to performance outcomes. You think in terms of CAC, LTV, and ROAS—not just clicks and impressions—and you bring a track record of driving efficient, profitable growth at pace. You’re just as comfortable building strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to get a campaign out the door.

You’ll work closely with our Creative and Retention teams to bring campaigns to life across channels and guide execution across the funnel. You’ll also shape team structure and hiring strategy as we grow—building a world-class acquisition engine that balances speed, efficiency, and long-term brand equity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead E-Commerce Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisition/ad strategy across channels such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Ads, Shopping, YouTube, and more), TikTok, X, Reddit, Pinterest, and other emerging platforms. Analyze performance data regularly to identify trends and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Oversee Paid Media Campaigns: Plan, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand goals and delivering measurable results profitably. Conduct ongoing testing and experimentation to refine audience targeting and creative effectiveness.
  • Drive Influencer and Partnership Strategies: Develop and manage influencer marketing initiatives, connected TV campaigns, and podcast sponsorships to expand the reach of our brands. Build long-term relationships with partners to amplify our voice and drive brand awareness.
  • Develop and Scale Product Seeding & Ambassador Programs: Build and manage a comprehensive product seeding and ambassador program to increase brand awareness and organic reach. Identify and cultivate relationships with brand ambassadors, influencers, and community advocates to drive engagement and credibility.
  • Guide Creative Development: Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to identify and produce high-performing assets tailored to each marketing channel. Ensure that all creative aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage Budgets and Timelines: Oversee marketing budgets for acquisition efforts, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely delivery of campaigns. Proactively identify opportunities to maximize value within budget constraints.
  • Implement Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and insights to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and provide regular reporting on performance metrics like CAC, blended /channel ROAS, MER, LTV : CAC, AOV, CTR, and CVR. Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic adjustments.
  • Own Cross‑Channel Attribution: Create and refine a multi‑touch attribution framework that accurately credits each channel, using GA4, ad‑platform pixels, post‑purchase surveys, and incrementality testing to guide smarter budget allocation and sharper campaign optimization.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other marketing leaders, including retention and creative teams, to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns. Facilitate cross-functional alignment to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Oversee SEO and Organic Traffic Efforts: Develop and execute strategies to increase organic visibility and drive traffic through search engine optimization. Ensure content and technical SEO best practices are implemented across all web properties to maximize rankings and organic growth.
  • Manage Affiliate and PR Efforts: Lead the development and management of affiliate marketing programs to drive customer acquisition. Oversee PR efforts to establish and maintain strong relationships with affiliates, media outlets, and other partners, amplifying brand credibility and reach.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously research and implement industry best practices and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Identify new platforms and opportunities to innovate and drive growth.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  • 8+ years of e-commerce / digital marketing advertising experience required.
  • Experience with Meta ads, Google’s suite of products (Ads, Shopping, Youtube, Analytics, and more) TikTok, X, Reddit, Pinterest, Shopify, Triple Whale, Notion, Figma, Google Suite, Slack, and other marketing software required.
  • Experience leading an acquisition marketing team is required.
  • Experience leading agency partnerships is required.
  • Copywriting skills/experience is required.
  • Experience using AI for content/ad creation is a significant plus.
