Team Specifics (TAP)The primary focus of this team is to retrieve data from more services that customers use to help them practice better security through automation.The largest set of projects involves pulling data from these third-party APIs, transforming the data into a standardized format, and running tests to verify that best security practices are followed. Team members will be responsible for the development, testing, rollout, and support of these integrations.This team is also improving and launching new product features for startup and enterprise users. This involves working closely with product and design, writing engineering specs, implementing, and rolling out backend and UI components.

Team Specifics (Personnel)The Personnel team plays a crucial role in several key areas of the product. These include:

People Module: Enables customers to manage compliance requirements for each of their employees.

Computer Module: Ensures that employees’ computers meet necessary security requirements.

Access Module: Verifies that employees have appropriate access to services and tools.

The engineers on the Personnel team tackle a variety of challenges to support these modules, including:

Ensuring seamless and accurate data fetching from third-party integrations, primarily Identity Providers (IDPs) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Transforming and normalizing fetched data to align with the needs of internal systems.

Developing new features and enhancing existing ones to address the daily needs of customers’ administrators.

Building and refining tools that help employees comply with their organization’s personnel compliance programs.

Maintaining and improving the lightweight Mobile Device Management (MDM) product that helps customers ensure their employees’ computers meet required device policies.
