About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Go-to-Market (GTM) Process Lead to join on a 6-week contract basis to help architect and operationalize a repeatable GTM function within a mid-sized SaaS business. This person will not be focused on messaging, personas, or content, but instead on building the systems, workflows, and documentation that enable consistent, cross-functional product launches across Sales, Product, and Marketing.
You’ll serve as a strategic operator and GTM process owner, working as a peer-level collaborator to the Director of Product Marketing, with the autonomy and clarity to create order from chaos. The ideal candidate lives and breathes GTM systems, thrives in SaaS environments, and can take disconnected tools and people and align them through process discipline, structure, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deliver a working GTM proof of concept by the end of the 6-week engagement
- Audit existing GTM efforts and identify where handoffs, tracking, and ownership break down
- Design and implement a repeatable, documented GTM framework
- Create a centralized operating system for product launches using tools like Jira, Confluence, Brandfolder, and ClickUp
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to drive alignment on process, timelines, and responsibilities
- Retro-fit existing tools and workflows to fit a cohesive system (no Google Docs sprawl)
- Introduce PM best practices into the GTM function (milestones, status tracking, accountability)
- Deliver enablement and documentation that Sales and cross-functional partners can actually use
- Identify where integrations and tool connections are needed to support GTM velocity
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading or building GTM functions in a SaaS environment
- Strong knowledge of product development cycles and how GTM fits within them
- Someone who thrives in systems thinking and process design, not content or messaging
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Brandfolder, ClickUp, and HubSpot
- Experience working in or alongside Product, Sales, and RevOps teams
- Comfortable delivering outcomes independently in a fast-paced, semi-structured org
- Strong documentation skills — you bring clarity, not chaos
