Freelance Graphic Designer
Start Date: ASAP (week of June 17)
Duration: 2–3 weeks, with potential for contract-to-hire (preferred if local to Chicago)
Location: Chicago preferred; remote considered for short-term engagement
Hours: ~20 hours/week
Pay Rate: $37.50–45/hr.
Overview:
We’re looking for a freelance Graphic Designer to jump in quickly and support short-term content marketing and design needs. There is potential for contract-to-hire if the candidate is Chicago-based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce visual assets for content marketing and sales enablement
- Create compelling LinkedIn and Pinterest posts that align with brand standards
- Develop email campaigns targeting marketers, including design and layout
- Design promotional email signatures for internal teams
- Collaborate with outgoing team member to ensure smooth transition of in-flight design projects
- Work within Brandfolder (DAM) to access brand assets and maintain visual consistency
- Update and maintain DAM library as needed with new or revised assets
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally with a focus on marketing content
- Strong portfolio of work across digital channels (social, email, content marketing)
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or equivalent tools
- Experience working with DAM platforms like Brandfolder
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and eye for visual consistency
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience designing for B2B audiences, especially within marketing or sales organizations
- Comfortable interpreting brand messaging and working closely with stakeholders on final creative
Additional Notes:
We are looking to identify someone ideally by mid-to-late this week (Wed/Thurs/Fri) for onboarding and crossover time with the outgoing team member.
