We are looking for experienced software engineers based in the EU or UK to help improve advanced AI systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are 10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals. We partner with leading AI labs to improve large AI systems.

Your Role Is Practical And High Impact. You Will

• Review and refine AI generated responses related to software development and system design
• Evaluate outputs for technical correctness, code quality and architectural soundness
• Draft realistic engineering scenarios such as API design, distributed systems challenges, performance optimisation, refactoring strategies or debugging complex issues
• Create variations of the same scenario from different perspectives such as backend engineer, frontend engineer, DevOps engineer, architect or engineering manager

Identify weaknesses in logic, edge case handling, scalability assumptions or security considerations

In Simple Terms

You will assess and improve AI generated content to ensure it reflects real world engineering practice, clean code principles and robust system design.

This is not hands on product development. Instead of building a specific application, you will help improve how AI systems understand and reason about software engineering at scale.

Your input directly improves how AI performs on programming, architecture and technical problem solving topics.

You Are

Who this is for

A software engineer, developer, software architect or senior technical contributor

• Based in the EU or UK
• With several years of professional software development experience
• Experienced in areas such as backend or frontend development, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, DevOps, security or system architecture
• Comfortable identifying flawed code logic, scalability issues and unrealistic technical assumptions
• Available 8 to 20 hours per week
• Able to start in the coming weeks

This role is fully remote and flexible.
