Job Description:

As a Staff Golang Engineer, you will play a critical role in building high-performance backend services, integrating AI-powered development tools, and designing enterprise-grade solutions with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability. You’ll collaborate with architecture, cloud, and AI teams to develop intelligent platform capabilities and contribute to the future of AI-driven development culture.

You’ll also be responsible for implementing multi-tenant architectures, maintaining high availability systems, and optimizing performance in cloud-native environments. This role demands technical excellence, innovative thinking, and a strong drive for meaningful impact in the fintech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Development: Design and implement secure and scalable backend components using Golang for enterprise SaaS environments.
Distributed Systems: Build and maintain multi-tenant distributed architectures with a focus on real-time, high-throughput processing.
AI-Driven Development: Integrate AI agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) into development workflows and automate monitoring, scaling, and incident response.
Collaboration: Work closely with architecture and cloud teams to ensure alignment with security, compliance, and performance standards.
Innovation: Drive the adoption of AI tools and contribute to AI-first software development strategies.
API Design: Build robust APIs for enterprise-scale integrations and external partner connectivity.
Performance Optimization: Ensure low-latency processing with cost-effective infrastructure usage.
Security & Compliance: Implement bank-grade encryption, audit trails, and compliance features (PCI DSS, SOC 2).

Qualifications:

Experience: 6+ years of full-stack development with 3+ years specifically in Golang; prior Java/Spring experience is a plus.
Expertise: Proven experience in distributed systems, high-volume transaction processing, and enterprise SaaS platforms.
Database Skills: PostgreSQL expert with advanced optimization and security knowledge.
Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
AI & Automation: Passion for AI agents and practical experience integrating tools like Cursor, Claude Code, etc.
Security: Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks in banking/fintech environments.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a distributed team mindset.

Bonus Skills:

Experience in building agentic systems for automated operations.
Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI system architecture.
Open-source contributions or technical writing on AI/automation/distributed systems.
Background in fintech or banking infrastructure development.
