About the Role

We’re seeking a mid-level WordPress developer with strong experience in Elementor to help rebuild and relaunch the client’s website. The primary focus of this project is migrating content from a broken legacy environment, implementing design and UI cleanup within Elementor, and resolving performance issues rooted in heavy media usage and unstable custom PHP/CSS.

You will collaborate directly with the client through a shared communication channel, working closely with their team to ensure smooth progress throughout the rebuild. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of both technical tasks and clear communication.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience working with WordPress
  • Strong proficiency with Elementor (templates, components, styling, responsive behavior)
  • Experience with content migration from legacy WordPress installations
  • Ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks (media-heavy pages, inefficient scripts, layout shifts, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of PHP, CSS, and debugging broken WP themes or templates
  • Ability to work within existing design direction while improving stability and usability
  • Clear, proactive communication when working directly with clients

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience working with sites containing heavy video or rich media content
  • Familiarity with modern theme frameworks or clean Elementor best practices
  • Comfort refactoring or removing unstable custom PHP/CSS
  • Experience optimizing third-party scripts or widgets that may affect site rendering
  • Understanding of lightweight hosting and caching strategies for WordPress
