About the company
Do Not Disturb Games is pushing our first title, “Crucible of Ascension,” toward a playable milestone and need a Unity-savvy gameplay programmer to make it happen. The game blends real-time arena combat with a deck-building layer, so every card you play must feel snappy, balanced, and deadly in the thick of battle.
Required
- Strong experience with **Unity and C#
- Experience implementing gameplay systems such as abilities, combat mechanics, or character controllers
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and debugging
- Familiarity with ScriptableObject-driven architecture
- Experience working in collaborative Git workflows
- Ability to work independently and iterate quickly in a startup environment
Nice to Have
- Experience building real-time multiplayer gameplay
- Experience with ability systems or card-based mechanics
- Knowledge of animation systems and input handling in Unity
- Shipped or contributed to a commercial game or playable prototype
