About the Project
Lithodomos VR is developing a Unity-based AR application for next-generation outdoor AR glasses (e.g., XREAL). We have an early MVP and now require a Unity developer to quickly bring the full prototype to life, improve performance, and support the launch. If successful, this role may continue beyond the initial delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Scope, build, and refine the AR MVP using Unity
- Implement and optimize:
- 360° video playback
- Orientation tracking (compass/GPS/heading alignment)
- Device integration via the AR glasses SDK (e.g., XREAL)
- Improve app stability and performance for outdoor use
- Collaborate on light UX/UI tasks (splash screen, simple interfaces)
- Support initial launch and iterate based on user feedback
- Potential ongoing development depending on project success
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Unity
- Experience with AR/VR development (mandatory — XREAL or similar is a plus)
- Familiarity with 360° environments and GPS / orientation features in Unity
- Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal oversight
- Nice to have: basic UX/UI design experience inside Unity
- Located within ~2 hours of CET (preferred)
Why Join?
- High-impact, fast-moving government-backed AR prototype
- Flexible remote work, with EU time zone overlap
- Potential for ongoing long-term development
- Immediate start
