UI/UX Designer (AI-Powered E-Commerce Product) - Part-time - EU/LATAM/NA

About the Project

We are building a revolutionary AI-driven, Shopify-connected web application that allows customers to create custom foam inserts for hard cases — think firearms, camera gear, tools — with ease and speed. The experience should resemble a Tesla-like product configurator, optimized for mobile-first usage and powered by computer vision and AI.

What You’ll Do

• Design a highly intuitive, minimal, and visually engaging mobile-first PWA
• Create seamless, icon-driven UX for low-tech users (simple enough for all education levels)
• Lead UX/UI design for the custom foam layout editor, using 2D canvas, drag-and-drop, and visual feedback loops
• Translate product requirements and AI behavior into fluid and intuitive user journeys
• Collaborate with developers to implement Shopify integration, AI features, and cross-device workflows
• Design progress indicators (like Domino’s Tracker), guided onboarding, and AI chat interfaces
• Apply design inspiration from Tesla, McDonald’s kiosks, Apple, and Canva to produce a world-class UI

You Should Have

• 5+ years in UI/UX design, especially in e-commerce or AI-powered interfaces
• Experience designing PWAs and/or Shopify-integrated flows
• Portfolio showing clean, icon-driven, responsive designs (send your best work!)
• Familiarity with AI interface patterns (chatbots, layout suggestion engines)
• Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD or similar expertise
