A mission-driven product company is seeking a proactive Technical Program Manager II with a passion for leading Product and Technology initiatives from concept to launch. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Program & Operations as part of the Program Delivery team, and collaborates closely with teams across Product & Technology to deliver strategic goals.
The ideal candidate is a skilled facilitator with a process improvement mindset and a positive attitude. We're looking for someone with a strong technical program management background, especially in coordinating cross-functional agile teams and delivering complex initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the bridge between teams in multiple time zones, working closely with Product, Engineering, InfoSec, and Legal to drive the end-to-end delivery of initiatives and programs.
- Ensure all work is represented in Jira and aligned with product and technology standards. Track and communicate progress against milestones. Coordinate dependencies, plan releases, and resolve blockers.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, remove obstacles, and escalate when needed.
- Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead the planning and execution of high-impact initiatives.
- Maintain roadmaps in close collaboration with Engineering and Product leaders.
- Monitor team capacity and provide impact analysis on changing priorities.
- Lead Agile/Scrum teams, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain detailed release plans and project playbooks.
- Champion operational change and influence teams to adopt process improvements.
- Help evolve program management practices and ensure alignment between Product, Technology, and business teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Program Management Experience: 2–5 years of experience in program management within software delivery teams.
- Process Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile SDLC and software development lifecycles. Comfortable working with limited data and evolving requirements. Experience constructing and managing release plans across teams. Jira administration experience is a bonus.
- Product & Tech Acumen: Strong understanding of technology ecosystems and system integrations. Able to navigate competing priorities and propose trade-offs.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships, and drive teams toward shared goals.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience across time zones is a plus.
- Leadership: Experience leading large-scale programs with a focus on quality, delivery, and strategic impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of technical program management experience.
- Scrum Master Certification, PMI-ACP, or PMP is a plus.
