Technical Lead (PHP and Python Knowledge) English Speaker

Position Summary

We are looking for a Technical Lead with strong experience in PHP (Laravel) and Python to

oversee a cross-functional development team. This individual will lead architecture

decisions, guide developers, ensure project delivery, and contribute directly to backend

development. The role blends leadership, architecture design, and hands-on coding in a

hybrid or remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers across projects.

• - Architect and build scalable web applications using PHP (Laravel) and Python

(Flask/Django/custom scripts).

• - Review code for quality, maintainability, and performance.

• - Define and enforce coding standards and best practices.

• - Coordinate sprint planning, task breakdowns, and timeline management.

• - Work closely with QA to ensure proper test coverage and issue resolution.

• - Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders.

• - Handle deployments, monitoring, and rollback procedures.

• - Drive implementation of secure, HIPAA-compliant development when needed.

• - Document architecture, workflows, and onboarding guides for new developers.

Technical Requirements

• - 5+ years of professional experience with PHP (Laravel).

• - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python (preferably Flask or Django).

• - Strong database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL) including optimization.

• - Experience with REST API development, integration, and security.

• - Comfortable with front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vue or React is a plus).

• - Familiarity with Git, /Bitbucket, and branching strategies.

• - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and automated deployments.

• - Experience managing remote teams and working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or GCP.

• - Experience with Docker, Linux command line, and deployment scripting.

• - Knowledge of HIPAA and secure data handling practices (especially in healthcare

systems).

• - Background in building multi-tenant SaaS applications.

• - Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or Python-based automation.

• - Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD/BDD practices.
