Their Universal API facilitates automation of accounting processes, data-driven lending decisions, and market expansion, among other functionalities.
Role Description
With a highly ambitious charter and complex customer demands, the company is in the process of building a foundational team to support its growth. They are seeking their first dedicated technical support engineer, who will be the primary point of contact for providing technical support to all customers.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, product teams, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to resolving problems thoroughly. The role offers ample opportunities to tackle a variety of interesting challenges and pursue goals that extend beyond primary responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
- Take ownership of first-level technical support for all customers.
- Triage incoming support issues promptly during business hours.
- Work on tooling and customer-facing functionalities to enhance customer success with the product.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and other teams to improve the company’s product offerings.
What You Need to be Successful
- Proficiency with tools like Postman (or curl) to replicate issues faced by customers using the company’s REST API.
- Ability to write workable code (i.e., non-production quality) in high-level languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Ruby.
- Passion for working with customers and ensuring their success.
- Enthusiasm for asking questions and solving problems.
- Commitment to thoroughly resolving customer issues.
- Data-driven mindset with a bonus for SQL proficiency.
- 2+ years of engineering experience or 4+ years of technical support experience.
