Staff/Senior Full-Stack Rescue Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff/Senior Full-Stack Rescue Engineer to take charge of a substantially developed intelligence SaaS platform. Your primary objective is to evaluate the current state of the application, built using Next.js/React/TypeScript, Node.js, and various APIs, with the goal of rapidly bringing it to commercial production.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive technical assessment of the existing codebase and architecture.
• Evaluate and implement necessary changes to optimize the platform for commercial production.
• Manage and enhance integrations with Stripe, authentication protocols, and search functionalities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
• Lead the transition of the platform from its current state to a fully operational, commercially viable product.
• Provide expertise in rescuing and refining inherited codebases to ensure performance and scalability.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proven track record in rescuing and managing complex SaaS platforms, particularly in the PropTech industry.
• Strong understanding of property-data integrations and API management.
• Experience with search, ranking, or geospatial workflows.
• Ability to work with inherited code and optimize it for production readiness.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with data-intensive SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with real estate data platforms and property-data/API integrations.
• Examples of successful projects involving the rescue and launch of inherited SaaS codebases.
