What You'll Build

• Design and build backend systems that reliably process and analyze millions of complex documents.
• Develop scalable pipelines that orchestrate large language models (LLMs), structured data extraction, and document analysis workflows.
• Build high-performance search and retrieval systems focused on accuracy, scalability, and speed.
• Improve the technical foundation of a rapidly growing AI platform.
• Partner with product, engineering, and domain experts to deliver new AI-powered capabilities.

Who We're Looking For

Must Have (Hard Requirements)

• Significant professional experience building backend software for production environments with a strong focus on scalable, distributed systems.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining large-scale backend services and data processing infrastructure.
• Experience building systems involving LLMs, AI pipelines, retrieval systems, search technologies, or large-scale document processing.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Experience collaborating across engineering and product teams to deliver customer-focused software.
• Demonstrated ability to balance engineering excellence with practical business impact.
• Strong ownership mindset, resourcefulness, and ability to execute effectively in fast-moving environments.

• Experience working in a startup or other high-growth technology company.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: USD $287,000–$485,000, depending on experience, expertise, and overall fit.
