Sr. Shopify and Shopify Plus Developer - Part-time - SEA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopify & Shopify Plus Developer to join our team. This position requires a professional who can develop custom Shopify themes and apps, handle ongoing development support, and contribute to the creation of high-converting Shopify websites and landing pages.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for bringing our vision to life through exceptional web development, ensuring our e-commerce platforms not only look stunning but also perform at the highest level.

Responsibilities:

• Custom Theme Development: Design and develop custom Shopify themes that are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand’s aesthetic and functionality requirements.
• Custom App Development: Create and maintain custom Shopify apps that add unique features and functionalities to our online stores.
• Ongoing Development Support: Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates as required to keep our Shopify stores running smoothly.
• Website and Landing Page Development: Develop high-converting Shopify websites and landing pages focused on optimizing user experience and increasing sales.
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Apply proven CRO strategies to enhance website performance, drive conversions, and improve customer experience.
• A/B Testing: Implement and analyze A/B tests to refine and optimize website elements based on data-driven insights.
• UX/UI Development: Ensure all websites and landing pages are designed with a strong focus on UX/UI principles, delivering a seamless and engaging customer journey.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience in Shopify & Shopify Plus: Demonstrable experience in developing custom Shopify themes and apps. Please provide a portfolio or examples of previous work.
• Conversion Rate Optimization Expertise: Strong background in CRO, with a track record of enhancing website conversion rates.
• Web Development Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Strong Understanding of UX/UI Principles: Ability to create user-friendly interfaces that enhance customer experience and engagement.
• Hands-On Experience with A/B Testing and Analytics Tools: Proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, Optimizely, or similar to run tests and analyze website performance.
• Ability to Work Fast and Adapt to Feedback: A proactive attitude with the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback and changing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for e-commerce.
• Experience in integrating third-party APIs and services with Shopify.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
