Juliana Torrisi, RecruiterA bit about us: We are the team behind Gamblit. While we successfully got it to market, building this project as "amateur" developers and vibe-coding a lot of it lead to a laggy frontend and a codebase that is hard to scale.
Now, we are launching a brand-new platform under a new name. We want every game (take a look at our website's Original Games and their animations) and all the features on our website super optimized from day one for the user. We have a design team working on the Figma of our platform which you will have to convert into pixel-perfect production ready code with clean, optimized animations.
Role Overview
Join our team as a Senior Frontend Developer to help us build our new gambling platform.
Responsibilities
- Convert Figma design to pixel-perfect production ready code.
- Enhance the user interface with smooth & optimized animation for our games.
- Ensure the frontend code is clean & optimized for long-term performance and scalability.
- Implement real-time server communication using Socket.io.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate frontend functionalities.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across all screen sizes & make sure the website & it's animations are optimized to run on devices with low capabilities (example: low-end mobile phones)
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in writing modular, clean & optimized Next.js code.
- Knowledge of Socket.io for real-time server communication.
- Expertise in Framer Motion, GSAP, CSS/Canvas animations (we are looking for someone who understands spring physics, easing functions, and maintaining a consistent 60 FPS under load)
- The ability to translate complex Figma designs into responsive, production-ready Tailwind CSS code with extreme attention to detail in spacing, typography, and motion.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing for the gambling or gaming industry.
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques in web development.
- Strong eye for design (you can spot when a padding is 2px off or when an animation curve feels "clunky" rather than "fluid," and you know how to fix it without being told)
We don't care about a generic CV as much as we care about what you’ve actually shipped!
Please make sure to share:
- Live projects where you handled complex, real-time data (Socket.io).
- Examples of high-end animations you are proud of.
- A GitHub repo or code snippet that demonstrates your approach to Clean Code
