We are a driven team building a modern, all-in-one social media platform powered by our own proprietary cryptocurrency. With over 300+ backend APIs and four years of active development, we're in the final stage of pre-launch and need experienced blockchain expertise to ensure our economic infrastructure remains secure and stable.

Role Overview

This is a remote, part-time, long-term contract role focused on code review, auditing, and maintenance of our custom blockchain implementation. You'll provide expert oversight to ensure our blockchain architecture remains sound as we make incremental updates and improvements.

This is NOT a full-time development role - we're looking for a senior expert who can dedicate 1-2 hours per week to reviewing our blockchain code and providing strategic guidance.

What You'll Do

• Review pull requests for blockchain code (~20 minutes per PR)
• Audit smart contracts written in Solidity to ensure security and best practices
• Provide architectural guidance to prevent breaking changes to our established blockchain structure
• Perform maintenance reviews for our platform's payment and cryptocurrency infrastructure
• Identify potential issues proactively and recommend minimal, strategic code changes
• Collaborate asynchronously with our development team to enhance platform functionality

Technical Requirements

Must-Have Experience

• 6+ years of Machine Language experience
• 6+ years of Shell Scripting experience
• 6+ years of Solidity experience for smart contract development and security
• Deep understanding of custom blockchain architecture and cryptocurrency systems
• Strong code review and auditing capabilities
• Experience maintaining production blockchain systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with custom blockchain implementations (not just Ethereum/standard chains)
• Background in blockchain security audits
• Understanding of payment systems and economic models on blockchain
• Experience with cryptocurrency tokenomics

• Platform: Large-scale social media platform with integrated cryptocurrency
• Scale: 300+ backend APIs on horizontally scalable infrastructure
• Blockchain: Custom proprietary blockchain serving as the economic foundation for the entire platform
• Current Stage: Platform largely complete; focus is on maintenance, minor enhancements, and ensuring code quality
• Critical Requirement: The blockchain must remain stable and secure as it powers all payments and transactions across our user base
