Role Overview

Join our team as a Senior Backend Engineer focusing on core backend architecture, APIs, and external integrations. You will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining a unified API layer and developing robust integration cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a unified API layer to ensure seamless integration across platforms.
• Build and manage third-party API integrations to enhance system capabilities.
• Develop and optimize integration cloud infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.
• Implement Stripe Connect to facilitate secure P2P transactions.
• Build robust authentication and permissions systems to ensure data security and access control.
• Collaborate closely with frontend teams on field mapping systems to ensure data consistency.
• Design scalable data models to support growing data requirements.
• Optimize API performance and reliability to ensure high availability and responsiveness.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud SQL and Cloud Storage.
• Familiarity with third-party services like Stripe, Twilio, and SendGrid.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker for local development environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with integration platforms as a service (iPaaS) or unified APIs such as Paragon or Tray.ai.
• Knowledge of multi-tenant architectures to support diverse client needs.
• Familiarity with webhooks and event-driven systems for real-time data processing.
