Who We're Looking For: We seek Software Development Mentors with a foundation in Full Stack Development, eager to step into a mentorship role and manage multiple project teams comprising of early-in-career talent. You’re a people-oriented professional with proven technical skills, aspiring to grow into a managerial position. You excel at data driven decision making, mentoring and problem-solving, and you’re comfortable balancing technical oversight with team coordination. With your hands-on experience in Full Stack Development, you’ll bridge technical knowledge with strategic planning, guiding teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What You Will Do:
Technical Mentorship and Supervision :
- Discussing High level Architecture and design with team members
- Technical guidance and best approach discussions with team.
- Doing regular code reviews and sharing important feedback on how to improve code
- General knowledge sharing on improving fundamentals, industry best practices, performance improvements, etc. to keep team motivated and improve their impact
Project Ownership and Execution :
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of project & features and enhancements, working closely with early early-in-career talent.
- Apply agile methodologies, managing the development process end-to-end and ensuring timely project completion.
- Utilize project management tools like Jira to track progress, manage resources, and identify bottlenecks and provide feedback.
- Lead and coordinate multiple teams (4-6 members each) with diverse skill sets, ensuring alignment on project goals and milestones.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, supporting individual and collective growth while addressing any roadblocks.
- Facilitate effective communication across teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of responsibilities, timelines, and outcomes.
**Process Improvement & Operational Excellence **
- Identify areas for process optimization and implement agile, fast-paced improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Own and refine operational metrics, supporting data-driven decision-making across projects.
- Ensure stakeholder buy-in and conduct regular updates on project progress, highlighting achievements, risks, and potential solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field.
- Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel/GSheets and Figma.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in software products.
