As we gear up for our product launch, we’re looking to build a strong social media presence with our platform launch.
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to take charge of our social media strategy and execution. In this role, you will help position Sylvie, our travel assistant, as a relatable and engaging travel influencer. Your work will be instrumental in creating brand awareness, driving engagement, and building a loyal following ahead of our product launch.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on Instagram and YouTube Shorts (with potential expansion to TikTok).
- Create engaging and visually appealing content, including destination highlights, travel tips, product showcases, and industry news.
- Utilize Silvy’s platform data to craft unique and helpful posts for travelers.
Community Engagement:
- Build an authentic and loyal following by interacting with the audience and fostering a community of travel enthusiasts.
- Respond to comments and direct messages to maintain a personal touch.
Brand Building:
- Position Sylvie as a travel influencer by creating a relatable and engaging online persona.
- Focus on quality over quantity to attract and retain a dedicated user base.
Paid Social Advertising:
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and reach.
Analytics & Optimization:
- Track and analyze performance metrics to refine content strategy and improve engagement.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the team.
Requirements
- Native-level English with excellent copywriting skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, particularly Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
- Basic design skills using tools like Canva, Figma, and CapCut.
- Experience managing social media accounts for US audiences.
- Strong understanding of the travel industry and a passion for travel.
- Familiarity with paid social advertising and campaign management.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of TikTok content strategies and trends.
- Experience working with AI-powered tools or features.
