Social Media Freelancer - Part-time - UK

Role Overview

Hully Pods, a leading manufacturer of beautifully crafted outdoor garden rooms (Pods), is seeking a talented Social Media Freelancer to enhance our digital presence. Our mission is to help customers create more living space affordably and without the hassle of builders. We are looking for a UK-based professional to manage and grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, focusing on structured, measurable growth.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Posting: Develop 3–4 posts per week using user-generated content (UGC). Craft warm, personable captions in the Hully tone and showcase varied Pod use cases such as home offices, beauty salons, therapy spaces, schools, glamping, creative studios, gaming rooms, garden gyms and extra family living space. Amplify our strong bank of customer content and ensure a continuous flow from Pod owners
• Community Management: Manage comments and direct messages, encourage engagement and conversation, and maintain a knowledgeable, helpful brand voice. Engage lightly in relevant UK Facebook groups to increase brand presence.
• UGC & Website Integration: Manage the simple structure for collecting UGC, encourage customers to share their Pod stories, upload stories to our website using a straightforward templated process (Approx 1 hour per week), and ensure our social proof is visible both on social media and on our site.
• Promotion Support: Design simple Canva-based graphics for seasonal offers and campaigns, ensuring promotions are visible and consistently executed across all platforms.
• Affiliate & Owner Relationships: Manage relationships with existing Pod owners willing to create content, integrate them into our affiliate structure, and maintain communication to encourage ongoing content creation.
• Reporting & Growth: Conduct monthly reporting on reach, views, engagement, click-through rate to the website, email registrations, and traffic from social media. Define growth by visibility and website impact, not just follower count.

Required Skills

• Highly organised and capable of self-management.mes, gardens, and seasonal buying behaviour.
• Experience in homewares, interiors, lifestyle, or property brands.
• Strong grasp of Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok platforms.
• Comfortable working extensively with user-generated content.
