Ellen Yang, Recruiter Role Overview
Join our team as a Smart Contract Developer where you will collaborate closely with a lead smart contract designer to implement and optimize smart contracts for a cutting-edge DeFi protocol. This role focuses on developing secure, gas-efficient, and production-ready code to support auctions, liquidity provision to decentralized exchanges (DEXes), and lifecycle management for a bond-like primitive.
Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and deploy smart contracts in Solidity to enable DeFi functionalities.
- Utilize Foundry for testing, debugging, and ensuring the robustness of smart contracts.
- Work collaboratively with the lead designer to translate financial designs into contract logic for auctions, liquidity provisioning, and lifecycle events.
- Enhance gas efficiency and security by adhering to best practices and optimization strategies.
- Integrate smart contracts with external systems, such as DEXes and oracles.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and simulations to validate financial logic and contract behavior.
- Review code to contribute to improvements in quality, security, and performance.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Solidity and experience with smart contract development for EVM chains.
- Hands-on experience with Foundry for testing and debugging smart contracts.
- Expertise in implementing financial mechanisms, such as auctions and liquidity provisioning.
- Solid understanding of DeFi protocols and interaction with DEXes like Uniswap and Curve.
- Knowledge of gas optimization strategies and security best practices, including reentrancy protection and overflow checks.
- Familiarity with integrating on-chain contracts with oracles and other external systems.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with developers and a lead designer.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with ERC standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and composable DeFi components.
- Understanding of layer-2 solutions such as Arbitrum and Optimism, and experience with multi-chain deployment.
- Exposure to smart contract security auditing tools like Slither.
