Shopify Expert - Part-time - APAC

I am seeking a highly skilled and proactive Shopify Manager to take full ownership of our Shopify store’s performance, functionality, and appearance. This role is perfect for someone who understands both the technical and strategic sides of eCommerce and can work independently to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

🔧 Theme Management

• Customise and optimise our Shopify theme for performance, aesthetics, and mobile responsiveness
• Maintain brand consistency across all pages and content
• Implement changes and updates based on seasonal promotions or product changes
  📦 App Integration & Management
• Research, install, and configure apps to improve customer experience and increase conversions
• Regularly audit installed apps to remove redundancies and ensure smooth functionality
  Work with third-party developers when needed to ensure app compatibility and integration
  📈 On-Site Marketing
• Create and manage homepage banners, promotional sections, and landing pages (native Shopify templates)
• Optimise product pages, upsells, and cross-sells
• Run A/B tests to improve the overall conversion rate
  💬 Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with the store owner to align site strategy with business goals
• Provide regular updates

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a Shopify store (please include links)
• Strong knowledge of Shopify theme customisation (Liquid, HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript)
• Familiarity with Shopify apps (Sumtracker, Genie, Klaviyo, Judge me, etc.)
• Understanding of on-site marketing strategies and eCommerce best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively suggest improvements
