Shopify Developer (Luxury Jewellery) - PT - Oceania/APAC/EMEA

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to customize our existing Prestige theme (Maestrooo) as part of a brand refresh. The work will focus primarily on improving the Product Detail Page (PDP) and Collection pages to enhance UX, storytelling, and conversion.

Our brand is a design-led jewellery company (Melbourne-based) and the website should reflect craftsmanship, luxury service, and strong visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Customize and extend the Prestige Shopify theme
• Improve Product Detail Page UX (layout, product info hierarchy, media, storytelling)
• Optimize Collection pages for browsing, filtering, and product discovery
• Implement responsive, mobile-first UI improvements
• Support brand storytelling through interactive or visually rich components
• Ensure clean, maintainable code and theme performance

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Shopify theme development
• Expertise in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience customizing premium Shopify themes (e.g., Prestige, Dawn, etc.)
• Strong UX sense for ecommerce product and collection pages
• Experience improving conversion and product presentation
• Ability to work with an existing theme rather than building from scratch

Nice to Have

• Experience in luxury, fashion, or jewellery ecommerce
• Experience building interactive product features
• Familiarity with Shopify apps and integrations
• Experience implementing visual storytelling or editorial-style layouts
• Performance optimization for Shopify themes
