Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Shopify App Developer to assist in migrating our website from a Wix platform to Shopify. A key task in this project is the development of a custom Shopify app to integrate our support contact form with Freshdesk, ensuring seamless data transfer via an API key.
Responsibilities
- Develop a custom Shopify app to securely transfer form submissions from our website to Freshdesk using API integration.
- Ensure the app adheres to security best practices to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure the app meets all functional requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the custom app as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Shopify app development and understanding of its ecosystem.
- Experience with API integration, particularly with Freshdesk or similar helpdesk software.
- Strong understanding of data security practices.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with website migration processes, especially from Wix to Shopify.
- Experience in developing custom apps or plugins for e-commerce platforms.
