Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails, AWS) - Perm - Worldwide

About the role

We're looking for a senior engineer to use and develop modern agentic coding techniques to deliver software that automates our business processes.

The core of the role is building AI pipelines, defining architectures, and reviewing code. You'll design the systems, run the pipelines that generate and manage applications and websites, and ensure what ships is well-architected and high quality.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain AI pipelines that generate and manage applications and websites
• Define the architecture of the systems being built
• Review code for quality, correctness, and maintainability
• Use and advance modern agentic coding techniques to deliver software that automates business processes
• Migrate and modernize legacy systems
• Set up and maintain CI/CD, and support applications in production on AWS

Must have

• Ruby on Rails — strong production experience
• AWS — deploying, running, and operating applications in production
• CI/CD — building and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Software architecture — able to define how systems should be structured, and hold that line as code gets generated
• Clean code — a genuine practitioner; writes readable, well-structured, maintainable code as a default
• Code review — experienced giving and receiving thorough, constructive reviews

Nice to have

• GitHub Actions — experience building workflows and automation
• Agentic pipelines — hands-on experience with AI-assisted or autonomous development workflows (e.g. Claude Code, agent-driven CI)
