Senior Software Engineer - Part-time - US Only

Role Overview

We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Engineer to conduct a pre-launch code audit and remediation for our B2B escrow marketplace. This project involves working with technologies such as Next.js, TypeScript, Stripe Connect Express, Supabase, and Vercel. The primary objective is to ensure that our payment paths, authorization processes, and webhook handling are robust and secure before launch.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough code audit of the existing platform, focusing on payment pathways and authorization mechanisms.
• Review and assess the implementation of Stripe Connect Express for potential vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
• Analyze webhook handling processes to ensure seamless and secure operations.
• Identify critical issues within the codebase and implement fixes by submitting pull requests (PRs).
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure all fixes align with project objectives and coding standards.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Next.js and TypeScript for building scalable web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Stripe Connect Express for handling complex payment integrations.
• Experience with Supabase and Vercel for database management and deployment.
• Proven track record of conducting code audits and implementing security best practices.
• Ability to identify and resolve critical issues quickly and effectively.
