As we develop the first version of our product, we're seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-moving team.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to play a crucial role in architecting and implementing the first version of our patient application. Reporting directly to our Co-Founder and CTO, you'll have the opportunity to shape the technical direction of our product and contribute significantly to its success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our cross-platform TypeScript application using React Native and Expo.
• Collaborate with the CTO to architect scalable and efficient software
• Implement and optimize integrations with key services, including health records, scheduling, payments, messaging, and telemedicine.
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of our application
• Contribute to technical decision-making and best practices
• Work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mobile software development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the React Native ecosystem
• Proven track record of architecting and implementing complex cross-platform mobile applications
• Familiarity with health tech or experience working with HIPAA-compliant systems
• Previous experience in early-stage startups
• Ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguous environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Expo
• Experience with FHIR interoperability/Medplum
• Knowledge of payment processing systems (Stripe), scheduling (cal.com), telemedicine (Daily)
• Understanding of Personalized Medicine (functional, integrative, longevity) concepts
