Senior Software Engineer – AI & Data (NA/LATAM - FT)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI and Data to join our team. Your primary focus will be to build and deploy production AI applications and agentic systems, along with the supporting data infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on approach to solving ambiguous business problems and delivering comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities

• AI Application Development: Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered applications and agentic systems. Develop intelligent assistants and automation workflows to tackle operational challenges. Implement agent workflows using external APIs and enterprise systems.
• Software Engineering and Architecture: Design scalable application architectures, focusing on backend services, databases, and user-facing workflows. Write maintainable, testable code and make technical decisions based on reliability and scalability.
• Data Engineering and Retrieval Infrastructure: Create ingestion and transformation pipelines for various data types. Design data models that support AI applications and ensure reliable data access.
• Deployment and Production Reliability: Deploy applications in cloud environments and implement monitoring and security measures. Troubleshoot production issues and develop reusable components and frameworks.
• Client and Team Collaboration: Work with technical leadership and stakeholders to define solutions. Translate complex business requirements into clear technical architectures and communicate effectively.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Python and building LLM-powered applications.
• Proficiency in developing backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI application patterns.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar.
• Strong understanding of databases, data models, and SQL.
• Experience deploying applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain.
• Familiarity with vector databases and backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Previous experience in consulting or client-services environments.
