Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Architect to join our team on a full-time freelance basis, focusing on clients within the LATAM region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in security architecture and engineering, with the ability to support and guide clients in establishing a robust centralized cybersecurity function. The role requires fluency in both English and Spanish, and there is a preference for candidates located on the east coast of South America.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive security architecture frameworks to meet client needs and industry standards.
- Collaborate with clients to establish and enhance centralized cybersecurity functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and support in the development and execution of strategic security plans.
- Conduct thorough security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective solutions.
- Ensure delivery of security solutions in accordance with client specifications and RFP requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and implementation of security measures.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in security architecture and engineering, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish. Should be able to have technical discussions in Spanish.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver security solutions in alignment with client RFPs and organizational requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities effectively.
- Experience working in a freelance or remote capacity, with the ability to manage time and priorities efficiently.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with regional cybersecurity regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with cloud security and modern security technologies, such as SIEM, EDR, and IAM solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex security projects.
