Senior React Native Engineer (Full-Time, Remote, US Time Zones)

About the Role

We’re looking for a strong React Native engineer to join our team and lead development on a new greenfield project. This role is perfect for someone who’s hands-on, fast-moving, detail-oriented, and loves building high-quality products that just work.

The right person has 5+ years of experience building apps end-to-end. They’ve worked extensively with React Native, and they’re comfortable with the full stack — Node.js, TypeScript, and database fundamentals. Ideally, they’ve also built and shipped local-first, offline-capable apps before.

You’ll be the primary engineer on this new project, with ownership over both the initial buildout and ongoing feature development. After launch, you’ll continue to own and grow the product, working alongside our team to maintain a high-quality bar.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of software development experience, ideally with a focus on React Native
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript, and database skills
• Experience building local-first and/or offline-capable apps is a major plus
• High attention to detail and pride in your craft
• Strong communicator and team player
• Able to work effectively within US-based time zones
• Self-motivated, fast, and capable of producing high-quality work without a lot of handholding
• Someone who wants to build great things with a small, tight-knit team

Bonus Points

• Experience with app store submission and release processes
• Experience with background sync, conflict resolution, and other offline-first patterns
• Familiarity with field service, scheduling, or other operational products
