Senior QA Automation Engineer - Full-time - EMEA

Role Overview

Join IDCentriq, a leader in providing country-level Identity and Payment solutions aimed at reducing fraud and enhancing user experience. We are seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to spearhead the development of distributed automation services across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and Web. This role is pivotal in building robust frameworks and fostering a culture of excellence, while driving collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement distributed automation services from scratch for iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
• Collaborate with domain groups to create initial test suites and understand their roadmaps.
• Lead and mentor other QA Engineers, working closely with area leaders to enhance software quality.
• Actively manage test suite coverage across product solutions to consistently deliver high-quality software
• Lead efforts to design test automation strategy and contribute to building tools, frameworks, or any infrastructure required. Identify opportunities for test architecture and implementation that can be reused by multiple teams.
• Drive implementation of new test frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices to establish high code quality across the company.
• Provide insights on how to improve product quality, reliability, and stability through a data-informed approach.
• Proactively manage test pipelines, respond to triage rotations, address quarantined unreliable tests, guide developers on debugging root causes of test failure, and introduce stable tests back to the pipeline.
• Identify and lead strategic technical initiatives, OKRs, or projects across multiple functions or the organization.
• Recommend, develop, design, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools for our multi-stack technologies.

Required Skills

• Experience in payments or banking domain to effectively understand and create test coverage
• Proven experience in building distributed automation services and frameworks from the ground up.
• Expertise in supporting multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, and Web.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with developers and teams.
• Ability to identify technical/process improvements and define technical roadmaps.
• Experience in solving complex technical issues within product test code.

• Empathy and negotiation skills to balance team needs in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Experience in leading and mentoring QA Engineers.
