Position Summary

ABUKAI is seeking a results-driven and highly structured Product Manager to manage the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of software products. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams through complex product lifecycles.

You will be responsible for driving product initiatives from inception to launch, aligning stakeholder priorities, ensuring rigorous quality standards, and maintaining clear execution across globally distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Planning & Strategy
  • Define, refine, and maintain the product roadmap aligned with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and technical capabilities to inform product direction.
  • Translate high-level goals into detailed feature sets and product initiatives.

• Requirements & Documentation
  • Author comprehensive product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and technical specifications, including architecture.
  • Deliver mock-ups, prototypes, code scaffolding, and delivery of engineer-ready code packages.
  • Integrate AI-based automation into the development lifecycle, reducing ramp-up time and minimizing repetitive coding tasks.
  • Identify and document edge cases, logic flows, and implementation constraints.
  • Maintain accurate records of decisions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to ensure product initiatives align with scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.

• Cross-Functional Execution
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and operations teams to ensure effective delivery of product milestones.

  • Lead sprint planning, prioritization, and status tracking across time zones.
  
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs and provide progress updates.

• Quality Assurance & Release Oversight
  • Work with QA to define and review test cases and regression plans.
  • Ensure product releases meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Drive resolution of defects and implementation gaps prior to release.

• Stakeholder Communication
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on product progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and clarification.
  • Proactively surface and resolve execution blockers to maintain momentum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Strong technical understanding of software development lifecycles, system architectures, and complex integrations.
• Experience defining frameworks and workflows for code scaffolding and engineer-ready packages.
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs between AI-generated output and manual implementation, ensuring both speed and quality.
• Experience architecting distributed systems, APIs, and enterprise-scale architectures.
• Ability to translate architectural trade-offs and system-level constraints into product requirements and execution plans.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience with web development, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, C++, and other programming languages a strong plus
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity. German, and other languages a strong plus.
• Experience with AI and other Development Tools a strong plus
• Experience working with remote or distributed teams is highly desirable.
