Senior PostgreSQL Developer (React, Node, PostgreSQL) - Full-time - US/EU

Job Summary:

We are looking for a PostgreSQL developer to develop queries and procedures, create custom reports, and modify ERP user forms to enhance organizational productivity. You will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for supporting the use of Postgresql as primary database technology
• Design, develop and implement database and SQL
• Implement queries, stored procedures, cursors, functions & triggers
• Will be involved in product design and application architecture
• Will be responsible for data architecture
• Will be responsible for database performance, security, and database operations
• Should understand business requirements from application developers and functional experts
• Should work with application developers on data design and validate effectiveness
• Should ensure system stability and scalability by monitoring, improving, and optimizing database
• Should perform database updates and migrations
• Have ability to identify root cause and mitigate issues on database
• Should advice on system and infrastructure sizing for Production Sites
• Conduct code reviews and should help with Server Management, and Tools and Utilities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of data solution/application development experience in PostgreSQL
• Minimum 4+ years of data and application development experience
• Desired knowledge and experience in working with time-series database, In-memory data- stores, Redis and Memcached
• Should be familiar with code-generation and scripting
• Should know working with Cloud Service Database and RDS
• Preferred knowledge of Reporting and Analytical Data Processes
