Senior Payments Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payments Engineer with extensive experience in integrating and managing Stripe Billing API solutions, particularly with HighLevel (GoHighLevel) at the API level. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring seamless payment processing and troubleshooting across multiple checkout paths.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and manage Stripe with HighLevel (GoHighLevel) at the API level, ensuring robust and efficient payment systems.
• Develop and maintain PaymentIntents, SetupIntents, Checkout Sessions, and Subscriptions to optimize payment workflows.
• Implement and manage webhooks and idempotency to guarantee reliable and consistent transaction processes.
• Design and manage dunning flows to effectively handle failed payments and ensure customer retention.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across different checkout paths, including HighLevel pages, Stripe Checkout, and custom Stripe API implementations.

Required Skills

• Deep, hands-on experience with Stripe Billing API, specifically in integrating with HighLevel (GoHighLevel) at the API level.
• Proficiency in handling PaymentIntents, SetupIntents, Checkout Sessions, and Subscriptions.
• Strong understanding of webhooks and idempotency in the context of payment processing.
• Experience in managing dunning flows to optimize payment collection and customer retention.
• Ability to trace and resolve issues across various checkout paths.

• Prior experience with custom Stripe API implementations and troubleshooting in complex environments.
