We are seeking an experienced Senior Media Buyer specialising in the Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, leveraging extensive knowledge in ad account management, targeting strategies, and conversion optimisation to drive impactful advertising campaigns.
The initial engagement is for less hours working on one ad account, to evaluate experience and determine good fit with the Intentional team. After an initial engagement period, additional accounts will be allocated.
Responsibilities
- Strategically review and evaluate ad accounts weekly, dedicating focused time to analyse business metrics, ad account performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough industry, client, and competitor research to inform campaign strategies and enhancements.
- Develop and write strategic reports, offering insights and recommendations to the Intentional Lead Growth Strategist for project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with the Lead Growth Strategist, providing estimates for project work hours and aligning on strategic objectives.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising platforms with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Proficient in broad targeting strategies, consolidated ad account management, conversion event optimization, and product catalog management.
- For eCommerce specialists: Strong understanding of business metrics such as Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER), New Customer Acquisition Costs (nCAC), Cost per Acquisition (CPA), Contribution Margin (CM), and Operating Profit (OP).
- For lead generation specialists: Expertise in evaluating qualified leads, close rate, and advancing prospects through the sales funnel.
Nice to Have
- A solid foundation in Creative Strategy and Creative Testing, with familiarity in methodologies from industry experts like Dara Denney, Fraser Cottrell, Savannah Sanchez, Professor Charlie, and Barry Hott.
- Experience with Attribution platforms like Northbeam, Triple Whale or Wicked Reports, with an understanding of how to apply insights from the platform into actionables in the ad accounts.
- Strong ad account management experience with Pinterest and/or TikTok is also valued.
We aim to identify strengths in either eCommerce or Lead Generation, as both skill sets are highly valued and will determine account assignments.
