About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Image Recognition Consultant to enhance its PyTorch-based neural network model for advanced object recognition. This short-term consulting role focuses on solving niche challenges, such as improving the recognition of objects behind glass and reducing glare interference. The ideal candidate will also guide and collaborate with the internal development team to ensure long-term success, rather than solely contributing code.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Image/Object Recognition: Proven track record of solving niche recognition challenges (e.g., glare and glass-related issues).
• Strong Programming Background: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Model Development Experience: Expertise in building, refining, and deploying neural networks for advanced feature learning and classification.
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively guide developers and explain complex processes in a clear and approachable manner.
• Time Zone Compatibility: Availability to collaborate within 5-6 hours of Pacific Standard Time.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with OpenCV and KNN models for feature-based image analysis.
• Knowledge of mobile and C# backend integration for image recognition platforms.
• Familiarity with museum technology or similar niche industries.
